Only a few people know that the tourism of Ischia is very 'young'. Prior to 1950 we were mainly fishermen, farmers and sailors, who learned from our fathers the importance of authenticity and respect for the good nature which was able to give us nourishment. After all, the post war period was anything but agitated and domestic breeding of pork was also here just a short walk from the sea, one of the main sources of food self-sufficiency for our population.
Following the teachings of my father and my grandfather was born Ischia Salumi.
Today, with my wife and my children, I think I have jealously guarded the Ischian art that few people know, that one involves the selection of meat choices, with the care of yore, but adhered to all the current regulations and hygiene health and using local herbs and wine.
That's why we can not offer large quantities for each product, but in every one of them we guarantee to experience the joy and excitement of authentic flavors forgotten.
