How to get Ischia

If you arrive by plane From “Capodichino” (Naples airport) you will need to reach one of the harbours located in Naples: To Molo Beverello (hydrofoils) - by bus (Alibus or 3S) or by taxi (ask the driver for the “taxi unico” rate). To Porta di Massa (ferries) - by taxi (ask the driver for the “taxi unico” rate). To Mergellina (hydrofoils) by taxi (ask the driver for the “taxi unico” rate).
If you arrive by carThere are 2 harbours that allow you to travel with you car. The first one is in Naples. Arriving in Naples from the highway there will be directions to reach “Porta di Massa” (ferries) harbour. If you already have a boarding reservation for the car, once you arrive in the harbour follow directions to “Varco Bausan”, if you do not have a boarding reservation, please follow directions to “Varco Pisacane”.
The second one is in Pozzuoli. Arriving in Naples from the highway, follow directions to “Tangenziale” and continue to “Pozzuoli”. Exit in “Via Campana” and follow directions to “PORTO”.
If you arrive by trainIf you arrive in “Napoli Centrale” or in “Piazza Garibaldi” Station we suggest to reach the nearest harbour (2 Km from the train station) which is Molo Beverello (hydrofoils): by bus (Alibus - 3S - 1 or R2) or by taxi (ask the driver for the “taxi unico” rate). A free shuttle service connects “Molo Beverello” with Porta di Massa (ferries).
If you arrive in “Napoli Mergellina” Station we suggest to reach Mergellina harbour (hydrofoils), 500 mt away. Crossing takes: 90 minutes by ferry (from Porta di Massa), 50 minutes by hydrofoil (from Molo Beverello), 40 minutes by hydrofoil (from Napoli Mergellina)
