Filippo Florio

A tradition that continues for seven generations, to rely on agriculture. A small company with the oldest rock flavor with plots of land put under cultivation in various areas of the country according to a typical technique of Buonopane, tied to a traditional family technique: chestnut poles with vines that wrap them arranged in rows of “poles”. Here time seems to have stood still. The weaning of cave-raised rabbits is based on typical herbs like “Palieri”, slices of vine, oak, elm, juniper, herbs, acorns, apples, carrots, lettuce. Whoever wants, can sleep in a house closed by a dome or carusiello and taste homemade cuisine being involved in the land production. A unique experience to prove for a few minutes what is the Ischian farmer’s labor, shouldering everything: from chestnut poles, food and containers of grapes, baskets of tomatoes, fruit... in short, a story of hard work.

The white wine is called as Filippo’s father, Don Luigi and is a DOC wine of Biancolella, the red one like his mother Donnaagnese is a wine with grapes of Ischia, Piedirosso, Guarnaccia, Cannamela and Aglianico.
