The Cenatiempo winery is located on the main road that leads to the port of Casamicciola. The most wide vineyards are placed in a location of Serrara Fontana called Kalimera. The first core business dates back to 1945. During this period, driven by the still predominant agricultural vocation of the island, the activity is all about trade of bulk wine exports. Thanks to the exponential growth of the Ischian tourism economy, rapidly changes the type of consumption: increased the local demand, many processes occurred directly in the cellars. So it comes to bottling in less than a decade. In the late 70s the activity concerned the wines in the bottle. In 1993 the first grapes produced wines and later in 2000, the entire production was transformed by the company. In 2005, the latest twist: the direct running of the vineyards. At this point, the coordination of the supply chain is total (at least for part of the production): from land to bottle, everything controlled in the process. The winery is open to the public with the possibility of wine tasting products, while the vineyard is open by appointment (with possibility of access to historian cellars in tuff rocks, extraordinary testimony of an ancient culture of the wine growers of the island). The company’s production consists of several types of DOC (guarantee of origin and quality of a wine) and IGT EPOMEO and Campania wines.
ISCHIA DOC: bianco superiore, biancolella, forastera, rosso, per' 'e palummo, kalimera, lefkos.
EPOMEO IGT: gran tifeo bianco e rosso, mavros.
